Due iMesh, iMesh Light died a long time ago. I got sued and left in broken pieces. Now I am looking for revenge…
iMesh is an oldskool p2p application, similar to Kazaa, Grokster, etc. These are all part of the “old garde” since new technologies like bittorent are much more efficient. Like every filesharing program, iMesh came with restrictions and malware. Ofcource an lite version was created, iMesh Light without any malware. Although these filesharing programs are likely to be seen dead. They still remain very useful to the basic computer users.
I was very small, around five when I started playing on computers, and so years later it evolved in developing iMesh Light. iMesh Light is, like Kazaa Lite an “lite” version of a application, in this case iMesh.
The first released version was far from perfect but it worked, later versions became better and better. At a certain point I surpassed the quality and usability of iMesh. Even when iMesh Light wasn’t a big threat, iMesh tried to sue. I pulled some legal tricks so I was able to continue developing. Two years later it was no more, iMesh once again tried to sue me and the succeded, I broke!
Two years I was thinking about this event, my baby murdered before my eyes. I couldn’t cope with it. Later on I recovered and the will to take down iMesh (Hell Yeah!) returned. Ofcource I can’t continue since the legal consequences. But there are smart ways to do it, without taking risk. So here it goes.
I hereby announce I will never do anything that inflicts iMesh or iMesh Light again. -Sebas
Stay put and keep your eyes open if you want a simple filesharing program! Because I heard some rumors iMesh Light isn’t so dead afterall…
